It's about time

I'm finally going hunting! Been working two jobs and somehow I came up with a day off and even my wife says I should go. IN about an hour and a half my trusty fox model B and I will start getting scratched up beyond all recognition as I walk my self unconcious for a few shots at some grouse. Yes,yes, life is good.

Good Luck! I haven't had the pleasure of hunting grouse but I enjoy hunting quail,doves, & pheasant & I've shot many thousands of rounds of trap & skeet.

OK, no grouse, but one of the most glorious days we've had in WNY in a long time. Every time I sat down I was surrounded by Chickadees, Junctos, and cardinals, Deer mice and Chipmunks. Kind of like being in a Disney movie. Still wish I had flown a couple birds but that's the nature of the game. The woods here are getting to mature and good cover is shrinking. THere has been a lot of logging going on so in a few years it will be a lot better. Hope my legs hold up till then.
