Western Gray Squirrels??

IM looking for some western gray squirrels. LIke we have here in Calif. Blue/ gray bodies, real bushy tails.. Not like the easter which is more a reddish gray with a thinner tail...
WIll pay 5.00 each frozen whole. plus I pay shipping. Prefer at least 4 at a time to save on shipping
Please dont aim for the head...
Want them for mounting.

You may want to check your laws. Generally it's illegal to sell any wildlife.

THat is not true. Only certain ones cant be sold..or certain ones require a CITIES tag, For example here in Calif I cant buy/sell or trade black bears or mountain lions. However in other states you can.. Trappers, hunters, taxidermists etc buy and sell wildlife all the time legally. Heck furbearer seasons starts next week and I guarantee you Ill be hunting for myself as well as to sell. If I had my trappers license Id be trapping too, but havent had time to take the course required in my state...
I just got in 3 squirrels, 2 coons and a possum from NY. Last week a couple of coons from MT. Bobcat and coyote from MT.. and a lynx and mink from Alaska.. And I sold a porcupine to NY... ALL BOUGHT AND SOLD LEGAL.
I cant imagine why you think its "generally illegal to sell any wildlife". DO you really think Id post asking for something if it was illegal to do???? Not to mention I buy and sell LIVE wildlife too.. its not illegal.

per wisconsin hunting regulations 2006

Transport and sale of game
It is illegal to: sell, purchase, or barter, or offer to sell, purchase or barter any
Small Game Mammal, Migratory Game Bird, or Game Bird or part thereof except:
1. the tail and skin of any squirrel, when severed from the rest of the carcass.
2. rabbit, raccoon, and other furbearing animal carcasses or parts can be sold
during the open season for those species. (The DNR may retain bobcat, fisher
and otter carcasses for research)

it is in wisconsin gernraly illeagal to buy sell or barter in wildlife and parts exept the hide and antlers.

and you were asking for hole frozen

per wisconsin 2006 deer regs

It is illegal to:
• sell, purchase, or barter, or offer to sell, purchase or barter any deer or part
thereof except: the head, skin, and antlers of any deer lawfully killed, when
severed from the rest of the carcass.
• possess a deer with broken or removed antlers in an EAB deer management unit
or during an antlerless only deer season, which makes determination of legality
impossible.
• possess a deer carcass unless tagged and registered as required.
• possess deer antlers in velvet, spotted hides, albino or white deer which are
entirely white except the hooves, tarsal glands, heads and parts of the head,
unless special written authorization is obtained from the department.
Note: Deer with antlers in velvet or in spotted coat may be harvested during the
open deer season, however, to keep the antlers or spotted hide the hunter must
contact a Warden within 7 days of tagging the deer and request written authorization.
The spotted hide and velvet antlers may not be sold or transferred to
another. Albino and white deer may not be harvested without prior written
authorization from the DNR.

Then obviously youve already checked the laws, which is all I suggested. Not all states are the same.

Well I didnt specify which states Id buy from but the last time I checked you folks in WIsconsin didnt even have any western Gray Squirrels. Easterns maybe but not like the ones we have here in Calif I dont believe...I am pretty sure the western gray squirrel is located along the west coast side of the world

But for reference I can buy furbearers from people in Wisconsin that have a trappers license, or a fur dealer license,
AND as I mentioned above some furs require tags etc...THe Regs State that in order to sell bobcats, fisher or otter pelt it must have the DNR tag affixed on it.
AND the Reason I asked for whole frozen.. Not everyone can skin a hide in the proper way to insure a good mount.. Doesnt do me any good if the eye holes are all ripped out or the paws are missing etc..
..

I'm not trying to give you a hard time jusk keep people from getting in trouble trying to help some one out

our DNR takes them selves way to serios and a minor violation can loose you hunting for 5 years plus a big fine

our wardens have more rights to search and seasure than our police
no warrent needed

most of them are ok but you get some real anti hunting freaks that have gotten jobs as wardens.
