Meat grinder recommendation?

I'm looking for a meat grinder for making deer burger and sausage, Most of the deer I kill are ground or made into sausage, so it will get plenty of use. I've found quite a few of them online, but it's hard to tell much about them. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I used one like this for years and it worked great. If you use an electric motor to run it put the smallest pulley you can find on the motor, 1 inch I think I used. http://cgi.ebay.com/22-Ball-Bearing-...QQcmdZViewItem

I have this one from Sausagemaker.com and we grind 2 to 4 deer per year.

It's heck for stout and a real bargain for the money.

Though pricey, I use a commercial rated Torey M12 meat grinder. I bought it when I was processing deer for people and it was well worht it's price of $530. plus shipping and handling. It has a 2" throat and is suppose to be able to grind some 200 lbs. per hour. I'll put 20 - 25 pounds of meat on the tray and it will grind all of it in less then 5 minuts. So I believe it would actually grind more so long as you can feed it fast enough. The ground meat comes out very store like quality. Great for making sausage.

Good luck with which ever one you purchase.

I have one like wilderness, but mounted it on a commercial sewing machine table and put a 6 in. pulley on the grinder and a 1 1/2 in. pulley on the motor. I can grind 30 pound in about 10 minutes.
