First time doing broccoli. Late summer heat wave question.

Im in zone 8. Forecast shows 90s and high 80s for the next ten days. I guess I jumped the gun when I bought a flat of broccoli transplants. What should I do? Keep them in shade and well watered or just get them in the ground?

I would wait if at all possible to put them in yet. Maybe give them a half day sun in the morning and shade in the heat of the day. If necessary transplant into larger containers till you get some cooler weather.
