Strawberry?

Can strawberries be planted this time of year? What's this about soaking? Someone on CL has plants really cheap. Also, I planned to plant them in a child's sand box. Any problems w/that? Will the plastic produce too much heat? Holes will be drilled in bottom.

Yes but keep them watered. I will be planting 4000 plants the first of Sept.
