Planting asparagus crowns

I have large order of asparagus want tips that any body had I planted 300 last year took one side of tines off the tiller and clean trench out with a hoe .Was thinking of renting a a bed edger this time Or maybe small trencher what ways do others plants large amounts .

I planted a half acre of it once using a single mold board plow behind a tractor. Worked pretty good.

I spaced liberally, I think about 12,000.

Well I got about 200 plants in the ground started using a shovel and mounding center of the ditch . I was digging to much dirt out so I bought a hoe with very sharp point. Trenched 2 sides of a straight line and pushed plant down a little worked pretty good probably could plant 100 plant in a 1 and half.
