Hit a seed gold mine!

Salvaged grocery store had a whole row of seed packages that were out of date by 1 to 2 months. I've ended up going back there 3 times because they keep on restocking!

They have the large 7x9 packs of corn (Bodacious, butter & sugar, silver queen, Irresistible.....), Kentucky Wonder beans, Blue lake beans and several other verities. Majority of what they had was the smaller seed packs but I got there at the right time when they were unloading more on the row. I stocked myself up for years when it comes to corn and green beans, few others too.

Only spend about $16 and I've got 2 plastic shopping bags FULL of all sorts of different seed packs. I may have gotten too much but I don't care, I'll store them. They had almost every vegetable seed there was (although some not in the best varieties), and flowers too. Why pass up?!?! I'm going back and depending on what they have I may even fill up another shopping bag full.

Out of date by 1 or 2 months? What does that mean?

How do you plan on storing them? I typically do year to year savings, but would like to know longer term storage techniques. Thanks
