Calla Lily's

I have some that didn't get planted last year. I tore off outer coating and they look ok to me. Guess I should just plant and see what they'll do. Any ideas?

Calla lilies are pretty tough. As long as they didn't get frozen, I'd say its worth a shot a planting them. They don't like cold/freezing temps, so it seems like it would be too early to plant, but I don't know NC.

Grandmotherbear,
Calla lillies and Canna are two completely different plants.
Canna have edible tubers, Calla lilies can cause a severe burning sensation and swelling of the lips, tongue and throat if eaten.

Whoa! Thanks for the save!! I was telling my mother about my reading about cannas and she insisted they were the same as Callas! Man that is not the first time she has done something like that to me. Am going to rip put those plants she insisted I take home. I have no spaceto waste on something that isn't edible
