what can i plant next spring

i am planning on putting pavers down in my garden path, next spring, does anyone have an idea of what if could plant between them?, i am going to try creepin thyme, anything else?

I use irish moss, but it is damp and wet here....James

I would suggest Irish or Scotch moss also -- it likes sun and a lot drier conditions than regular moss.

Snow in Summer (Cerastium), creeping yarrow (Achillea tomentosa), perennial chamomile, creeping phlox, and creeping gypsophila would all work, too.

Depends on how invasive you are willing to tolerate. I would vote for mint. When you step on it, it smells good and its hard to kill, but it will spread. Repeat, it WILL SPREAD, and spread, and spread.....

Oregano is another that will take abuse once established and smells nice. I like to mow the edge. Might grow too thick for a footway.

Try to eradicate it. It senses your intentions. Then it will grow and you can reach a compromise.

Might be a more rugged less tasty variety.
