Is it an eggplant?

No, its a Cow's Tit tomato!

I picked it at the "breaker" stage because my tomatoes are being ravenged by blight, but there's several more in my garden this size. I was going to go Amish Paste & Roma only next year, but if these taste decent I'll have to add a few of them as well.

Despite the size, you might not find 25 seeds total in it. Takes an average of one fruit to produce enough seeds for a single packet of 30.

Thanks for the information, and more importantly thanks for the seeds. I'll save and share in the winter.

First year that I grew it, had 2 plants and saved every seed. Ran out halfway through my seed offer even after cutting back to half as many per packet. Two more plants the following year with same results. Planted 6 last year and finally have what I think is enough seed to last a few years. If there's an offer next January, it won't be on this year's list but will be available off the previous list.
