Hand held bug vacuum?

I saw a bit on TV about growing strawberries and one quick thing on it was a huge commercial machine that drove over the rows of mounded strawberries and sucked up the bugs so no pesticides were needed.
I have been thinking of this as I have a battery powered small shop vac. All I need I think is a diffuser of some sort to spread out the air movement.
Anyone ever tried this or seen one?
