bugs on raspberry bush

My raspberry bush looks like this 2012-07-10_12-19-09_438 picture by dreamy_018 - Photobucket. What is it and how do I get rid of it? TYIA!

The fuzz is the waste and shed exoskeletons from the nymph stage of the white adult leafhopper in your picture. It looks like the nymphs have become adults and are moving on. I treat them only on indoor plants. On outdoor plants they are rarely a serious problem here. I squish the nymphs but insecticidal soap might get rid of them.

Thanks I'll try that. I noticed today that my fruit is ruined. I have bird netting over it, so I'm guessing it's from these guy's? I also noticed black ants crawling around the leaves.

If the birds can reach through the netting they'll still get the fruit. And birds will come up under netting if at all possible.

Hot and dry weather will ruin the fruit too.

Thanks I'll make sure I anchor it down. I'll take a pic of the fruit tommrow. It's odd looking almost like the insects got it.

I think the insecticidal soap helped. Thanks!
