Pre planning Square foot garden

Couldn't locate how much vegetables can be grown in a square foot garden. i map out 9 square foot garden plots and 1 extra large one for corn . For instance how many would a 750 sq foot garden feed ? or how much water i would have to be able to store to water the garden during the dry part of the summer . Is there a way to figure out how much dirt you would need in a raised bed garden ?

How much soil one would need is done by measureing x the depth you want. Water and what you produce depends on too many variables-soil,mulch,particular plants needs, etc.Since you are starting from scratch, use the best soil you can , if you can get compost that would be even better. I keep a 55 gal barrel in the garden for making compost tea and watering when needed. But I do water with a sprinkler because we have our own well.Mulching will greatly help to retain moisture and keep the plants roots cool.
