What's going on with my tomatos?

Been watching my tomato plants, finally see blooms but no small tomatos growing. Took a REALLY close look yesterday and all my baby tomatoes...the size of a small fingernail and smaller...are all laying in the dirt! Obviously dropping off the plants!

What's happening with them? I have four different types of tomato plants, water at least every other day, in the morning. They are in good soil, get good sun. It has been HOT here, high 90's.

Would it maybe help if I put a shade screen over them?

Hate to lose ALL my tomatoes! (well, all six plants, anyway!)

They were talking about blooms dropping. My tomatoes are dropping. Is that the same thing?

Probably. Still too hot for them to set fruit. Since you have little tomatoes you know your blossoms were pollinated so that isn't the problem.

Little difficult to understand but very informative article.

Thanks! That makes things a lot clearer! Just couldn't understand what was going on...never had this happen before! I mean, these are really beautiful, healthy plants with no bugs and THIS is happening to them!

Think I'll try that spray some mentioned and see if that helps. If not, I'll just cry.
