if it doesnt stop raining

enough is enough. i havent even been able to till the garden yet. i have all these plants i started in the house and they need to go in the ground or i will have to repot again . i have nothing except raspberries and onions and garlic in the garden--oh and some mints, so oniony minty raspberries all winter. i am getting real frustrated---i know its still early but i should have at least my seeds in the ground. oooooooo i guess my mood is just matching the weather.

A couple of years like this convinced me to prepare the garden in the late fall. Then, if bad came to worse - I could plunk plants out without tilling. I might have to pull up the winter weeds before I start, but at least the weather wouldn't keep me from planting for the most part. Beds with paths also help ( I don't actually raise mine).

We were going to finish up my greenhouse today. I did a 5K run early this morning and when I had rested up, just for a few minutes - it was raining. ARG!!!! BUT...after 2 years of drought from June to Oct, I am hard press to complain too loudly. Most of the time. (it's getting harder).

I have my relatives calling from the Carolinas all happy and telling me about the great weather. I have been invited down to the Outer Banks and may not return.

My region is stuck in a nasty cycle. This is the worst year yet. Today is the first full day of sunshine and no rain in....oh, what seems like forever. I am moving to a different zone. I want a garden!

I still have about 1/4 of the garden that needs tilling for the FIRST time! ackk!
The garden sat empty, growing weeds for 2 years as I had my garden in another spot. I have to get things planted, but can't even get in there to till it up good. This is gonna be a BAD weed year for sure!!
