Rubber tree

Does anyone know about rubber trees? I helped move one today and some leaves fell off. Do you think they would grow in water or a soil medium?

Rubber trees are usually air-layered, rather than being started from a leaf. Or the tip could be rooted. It wouldn't cost you anything but time to try, though.

All I know about rubber trees is you have to look out for ants.

"Whoops, there goes another rubber tree plant."

Thanks, I have leaves sitting in fish tank water right now. I think I'll leave some like that, and put some in soil. You never know!
