Pinto Top Pick

Know where I can get Top Pick Pinto bean seeds? Afriend of mine wants to get some for next year.

I've discovered that the beans sold in bulk and health food stores will germinate quite well. Just buy a few, and soak them in moistened towels for a few days to establish the germination rate. You might be surprised! Good luck.

Are you certain that it isn't Top Pick Pinkeye bean or pea? That's a fairly common one in Mississippi. Pinto beans aren't "top pick".

If you use your computer features to zoom in on this photo you can see the top setting black-eyed peas on the right row. http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t...y/scan0011.jpg Certainly did make for easy picking. Just reach out and grab them--well not quite that easy.
