Forest Dirt.

I keep inside the house 6 plants during the winter here in PA. one of them is a Spahiphyllum, I kept this plant for the last 4 years, I repot all my plants every other year, this year I decided to do something different, so I went to the forest and I got black dirt from the forest. A week after I re pot the spathiphyllum well this plant had a burt of energy and start growing and blooming but the new blooms are green. before this plant only had white flowers never green now is all the way around. What do you think this is happening?

I would have to wonder about soil PH, kind of like the affect it has on hydrangea, i.e. pink/blue. Leaf mold might be high in acid depending upon the kind of trees to a certain extent.
