Moldy Beans?

I've left my Christmas Limas hang on the vine to dry-but now they look moldy. Any hope for them?

They may be OK for seed but not eating. Even then, it would depend upon how deep the mold penetrated into the bean. I don't have that problem. I pick the limas about every other day. As soon as the pod begins to brown, it's picked.

I'm sorry the beans molded, thats one of the bad things about the high humidity and if we get fall rains here in Missouri. A few years back I lost a bunch of navy beans to mold.
