Keeping birds out of the Berries?

At my grandmas old house, she has a lot of Grapes and various berries behind her house. I have never seen the grapes, because the birds or what ever, keeps getting to them first. Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and what your doing to stop it.

Try spraying them with anything having artificial grape flavor - like grape koolaid or grape soda. According to Cyngbaeld (moderator on the poultry forum), fowl react to artificial grape flavoring similar to mammals' reaction to hot pepper.

Netting on grape vines, fruit trees or berry bushes is also a deterrent.

I use fish nets for my blueberries and such. i guess that would be the same as bird netting. i just pound in a few stakes and stretch the nets over. ...Georgia.
