winter planting zone 8?

what can I grow over the winter in zone 8? looking for ideas..

Peas, most likely.
Broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts.
Turnips.
Spinach.

It's been years since I lived in zone 8 so I might be mistaken on some of that (esp. the peas) but I think the rest are pretty good candidates.

There's about a million types of lettuce....some quick to mature, some not, some leafy, some head, some red, most green, some almost fluorescent.

Then.......
Carrots
Cauliflower
Strawberries
Shallots
English Peas
and what they said about broccoli, brussel sprouts, spinach, cabbage and turnips.
