What are those made out of?

They're some kind of metal sculpture on the grounds of an English monastery called "Wells"?--I think.

I'm sure you could make similar with less exotic materials.

If I put them in my garden, my grandkids would not come to see me anymore and every car that came by would stop and ask what are those things in your garden? But they would be a nice conversation piece, as for me I like um.
