Question planning garden web site

About 4-6 weeks ago I was on here reading through all your wonderful posts and I found a link to a site that helped a person plan their garden. It used a grid and Icons of different veggies and you just moved the veggies into the grid. The icons were equal to the area that you need to allow for that certain plant. It was GREAT! and I thought I saved it to favorites, but I can't find it there or on here any more. Can someone help me????
Thanks in advance! ~Norma

I had to go to the second page of hits from the search I did.

I used the term "garden plan" and found it. Glad you brought it up. I missed it the first time through, and it's pretty spiffy!

Ohhh, that's cool!

I've put it in my favorites now. Of course, I am still campaigning to get more garden space (sigh...).

This thing is cool but, I must be dense here. What do they mean by the 1/2 on the watermelon, or the 4/4 on the bush tomatoes?

Cool

Southerngurl -

This grid is for planning a garden via the square foot gardening method. (even though I don't use it for that either). The numbers indicate how many of each thing to plant into 1 square foot of space.
If your're interested in that kind of gardening google Mel Bartholomew, or square foot gardening - or I'm sure there are folks here who do it too.

My grandkids love to get on my computer and fix a garden with the hay bales and landscape timbers for boarders. If only it was that easy, but it will help you plan your garden layout.
