Tia, they aren't all that problematic; they grow outside like weeds in parts of the world. It's the usual balance - some water, not too much, and prob. for now, don't keep it too hot whereever it is. I saw them growing in Spain like weeds years ago, and this time of year, the temps were cool and there was some water. Good luck! ldc

I LOVE calla lilies! I live in Tennessee and here we grow them as annuals or bring them inside during the winter. Last time I had them I just planted them in pots outside and that was about it. They lasted all season and were beautiful. Unfortunately, I forgot to bring them in and frost got them.

They grow as perennials in Seattle -- unless they have an unusual, exceptionally cold winter

I received one a couple years ago at a 4-H meeting. I dig mine up in the fall and put them in the basement in a basket or paper sack. Last year I was able to split it.
