Thanks, I'm always looking for flat rate shipping! Do you have any favorites from them?

I hadn't ordered for a while, but they have a wide variety of products and supplies. I just happened on to their site again and saw the flat rate shipping, so I ordered some supplies from them. They have a 7 lb. bottle of Castor oil for $28.00. That is pretty reasonable compared to other sites. I ordered other supplies also. I always try to order several items and in bulk when getting a deal on shipping. That way you can average out the shipping either with each item or per ounce.

Thanks for the info on Sarasota Scent's flat rate shipping. I just ordered some lye. That I can afford. I was sorry they didn't have essential oils.

linn,
How much is a 7 pound bottle? Is that a gallon? I hate when one site goes by weight and another by volume. Makes it to darn hard to compare prices.

It is not quite one gallon. One gallon = 128 oz. Seven lbs. = 112 oz.
Seven lb. bottles seem to be the norm now for many of the companies, I know Soapers' Choice sells some of their oils in 7 lb. bottles. I guess it is like sugar and coffee, instead of raising the price the companies lower the volume of the product they sell.

OK Thanks I wasnt if the weight /volume conversion was close to normal. I know some liquids weigh heavier than the volume measurement.
