Update on egg yolk soap

I did get a few more batches made and it has turned out a lot better so far.
Still needs to cure a while but doesn't stink like the other. One thing I read that probably helped is to use room temperature yolks.

I had an inspiration while surfing online and designed a package for it when the farmers market starts. You all please tell me what you think. It's a feed bag design from muslin. I thought Iwould wrap the soap in saran wrap and pack scratch or chick starter in the bag. I thought in today's "green" frenzy a reusable packaging might be a cute/good idea?

That is a great idea for the packaging...how are you going to print it? or are you a clever persona and can do that too?

Thanks for the kind words on the packaging. I guess it does look like something from Lehmans!
Shazza-I print out the design on muslin "sheets" of paper. You take material and iron freezer paper to it and it sticks together so you can send it through your printer. Then you just peel the paper away. I don't know who thought that trick up but it works pretty well!

I just wanted to say that I have used some of longhorngal's egg yolk soap and its the best soap I have ever used and I have used plenty. It makes me feel squeaky clean!
