Ordering Online

Im actually afraid to order online. How do you know what you are getting?
I like to touch and feel in the store, but sometimes what you get to pick from in store is limited.

I was looking on Fabric.com and came across a fabric I saw in Hancock Fabrics, only cheaper..
https://www.fabric.com/buy/uh-220/pr...b-yellow-taupe
$8.47/yd

http://www.hancockfabrics.com/Birds-...VVviewprod.htm
12.49/yd

How do you know its the same fabric and one is not a cheap imitation knock off?

How do I know if a fabric will be soft enough for normal sleep pillow covers?

Sarah, I have ordered twice from fabric.com and both times there were problems with the order. First order the material quality was great, but there was a piece in the order that wasn't mine. Second order was a nightmare! I ordered 10 cuts of fabric, some were clearance and the remaining yards they had available. Of the 10 pieces I ordered 6 arrived and only 1 of them was from my order. When I called customer service the awful experience continued, I did eventually get my money back after 2 months! I would try someplace else before Fabric.com.

That is more of an upholstery fabric. Notice it said clean with a fabric shampoo or upholstery cleaner. If you want these for sleeping pillows I don't think you're going to be happy with it. It's more for throw pillows or curtains or slipcovers.
