Hello, again!

It's nice to be back after a little hiatus. I didn't take one on purpose, since June 15th, I have been having the worst chest pains. Test after test on my heart (my mom died from heart disease when she was 51 and I am 48) and on my esophagus all came back normal. It was the worst time...horrible pain and no answers! Well, August 2 we finally found out what the problem was...I had a heart attack. They did an angiogram then and found my right coronary artery was 95% blocked. They put a stent in and I am now good as new. I can't tell you how nice NOT being in constant pain is!! I wear out quickly now, but am pretty much back to my old self, so hopefully will have sewing projects to share! Now to catch up on posts here!

So glad to hear you are doing better. And that they caught the problem in time, even though you had to have the surgery.

Glad you're back and on the mend. Every 3 weeks or so you should feel a step better. Noticable at 6 months, and again by a year. (So says my Dad who had a HA and a few stents.)

So glad that got you fixed up. I am always worried when I have chest pain because my mother, younger brother and both my mother's brothers died of heart attacks. My brother was only 43 and the two uncles were in their early 50's.

Reenie - sorry to hear that happened to you, sure glad you got it fixed. And I thought you were just off sewing so much.

Real happy to have you back.
