Craftsy Block of the Month class
I found out about this on another forum and decided to join since it is free. Of course, the class started in January so I'm really hustling to catch up. But I am learning so much. Each month centers on a particular method/ theme and we make two blocks. In November and December the instructor will teach how to put them together and actually quilt them.
Since it is a video class, the lessons are available anytime, and once a person has joined, he or she can view them even years from now. Even if you don't have time to follow the class now, I'd recommend for anyone who might be remotely interested to sign up. There is also a good discussion group that is printed down the side of the page for each month. I've learned a lot from just reading the comments by the other participants.
