Help! I screwed up

I'm making a queen sized quilt, called Lotus Blossom, picture here
http://www.hancocks-paducah.com/Item--i-CQD-1045
I set it wrong, it was supposed to be 5 blocks across and 4 down. I set it 4 across and 5 down--this is for a queen size. I already have the first border on so I am NOT going to take it a apart. It still needs one more border. It is plenty long enough but not wide enough. Do you think it would look odd if I made the side borders much wider than called for and just put a token of a top and bottom border on? I need to add at least 9 inches to each side. I did this sort of thing to a quilt I designed but I had that type of border designed into it, so it looks ok.
I am hoping to get this monster on the frame today.
thanks!

Without seeing a picture, it's hard to say. Make sure the error won't make you crazy later. It really doesn't take that long to rip it out and fix it!

CJ,
Already decided it's going to make me crazy. So rip it , rip it , rip it!

I'm working on my very first mini-quilt treadle cover and every time I make a boo boo my wife says the same thing: "rip it, rip it, rip it". Soo funny.

You think you are the only quilter who has had to rip? Grit your teeth and do it.

No, I've ripped out many times before, actually more times than I care to admit. I would have just rather worked on something else. Got my eye on a new tree skirt. Anyway, I worked on it for 4 hours today ripping and resewing and got half of it redone. Actually it's going back together better the second time. DH said just to look at it this way, I liked putting it together so much the first time, I decided to do it again!

Seems like I do more unsewing, than sewing sometimes, but I'm anal and the mistakes will drive me nuts. lol
