Oops lol

I have been playing with my new EM, doing designs on scraps just playing. Today I decided to put a design on a garment. I decided to put a tiger on a pair of DH's boxers. Don't know what happened but the machine ate a big hole out of them. LOL. the tiger only has teeth and part of the orange done looks like a weird alien. DH just laughed when i showed him. Oh well I guess I will practice more before attempting any more clothes. But I am having SOOOO SEW much fun.

Have fun and enjoy your learning experience. DH can always ask Santa for a new pair of boxers if he's been a good boy. LOL

Maybe you ought to think twice about putting a "Tiger" on your DH's boxer shorts. Sorry, I just couldn't resist. LOL

It sounds maybe like there wasn't enough stabilizer for the density of the design. For something like boxers even if the fabric can handle a dense design you wouldn't really want it that way. The other problem might have been tension and when the machine does a lot of stitches it adds up to a lot of pressure.
