I was lucky enough to get a #10 commercial can of hominy for only $1 - just couldn't pass that one up - and seems like I read on here (or somewhere) that I could reprocess this into pint mason jars. Was I just dreaming?

I don't know for sure, but I would think the extra processing would turn the hominy to mush. Can you freeze hominy?
