Need help with flag...

I thought maybe I could get ideas from you fine people!

I have been unpacking, and I came across an old 100% cotton flag that had been my husband's parents. It is in really good shape, other than at some point, where it is folded in the middle, it got wet in the box apparently. It is like a brown stain right down the middle. (running from top to bottom) Any way to get that out?
Thank you!

I would try an Oxy type cleaner, or hydrogen peroxide to gently bleach the stain out.
