Babe wheel and electric kit=win!

I have a babe production wheel but since I am disabled I cant tread. So I have always hand spun the wheel.
I finally bought babes electric conversion kit and wow, spinning is great!
With the foot control, same as a sewing machine, I can go as fast as I want or slow and the evenness of the feed is better now that i have 2 hands free.

I am spinning 10times faster than ever before.
Plus I can sit back in my chair and spin, no more leaning forward or sitting on the edge. Comfy, fast, and no louder than the sound of the wheel going around.
Easy to convert back to the wheel to if I want.

I love it. Plus its more stable using the electric mount than the wheel on the babe.

So, if you have probs treading, or just would like electric with full foot control, check out babe's fiber garden. I am so happy and spinning like crazy!

Oh and it works for plying too. I always 3 ply and that just got easier too.

*I did have to put a few screws on the electric rig to hold it more steady but with babe you usually have to do a little customizing, but at least babe's are customizable.

I am surprised how fast a spool can be filled when the thing is constantly spinning vrs my old hand turn, spin, slow, stop, turn, spin, slow, stop method.

Spinning is great when your spinning!!! LOL

We love the Babe's Fiber Garden machine with the bulky flyer!

My lovely wife Tracy would set up that foot pedal and stomp on it like she was at NASCAR!

It's also small enough to fit in a picnic basket for travelling.
