So who thinks....

....that a spinning wheel would look real "purdy" setting up there next to that stone fireplace in WIHH's cabin?

After seeing how well she's doing with the knitting I just thought I'd start stirring the pot of enablement

Oh definitely! They have room for several of them actually, maybe even a floor loom. The little cabin next door could easily be made into a fiber studio :banana02:

Hey, *I've* never knitted a pair of socks AT ALL!!!!!

Just imagine all that nice, soft wool.... that lovely sheepy smell on it.... what color to dye? What project to knit or crochet? Wait, let me finish this bobbin off..... oh wait, now I have to ply it.....

I'll come visit in April and bring a wheel for you to try out. We can work on that and your spindle spinning. I can come just about any time during the month. You tell me when it will work best for you

You know, the MN Alpaca Expo is this weekend about 15 miles from me, you should all come down and stay at my place. There will be lots of fiber there!

Oh, nice pictures Bergere and Nellie!

Well, WIHH; looks like it's meant to be!! And how about a few sheep too? Considering as how you have someone to shear them for you.

I've been spinning up a storm. Made hubby some socks over the weekend and now I'm working on this little Louisa Harding bolero:

The pattern is so well written and easy to follow. Really enjoying it. I spun up some gray mill end roving from The Sheep Shed. It's coming out nice so far but I ran out of yarn since I used the same stuff for Ken's socks. I need to spin some more for the sleeves and borders.
