Milking and Cheese Making Workshop

We have hosted Milking and Cheese Making workshops for over 5 years. This is a hands on learning experience for the entire family. We have had over 300 people attend our workshops from age 6 to 81. Some of our guests have come from Maryland, Wisconsin, California, Kanasa, Arkansas, Texas, Missouri and Tennessee as well as the great state of Oklahoma. Some have come back for a second and third time bringing friends and relatives. Also note that there are two different types of workshops so be sure to check the date for the workshop that you prefer to attend. The hours are also different and if you plan to attend the milking and cheese making workshop it begins at 7:00 A.M. sharp with breakfast being served. Please don’t be late or you may miss out on a delicious breakfast. The cheese making only workshop will begin promptly at 8:00 A.M. At every workshop all the different cheeses that are made here at the farm will be served for you to taste. We always have a few sweet surprises for everyone to try. Some of the cheeses that will be served are Cheddar, Gouda, Colby, Havarti, Mozzarella, Manchego, Provolone, Swiss and that is just the aged cheeses. We also have many fresh cheeses to taste. The dates that have been set are as followes and more will be scheduled as needed.
March 12, 2011 Basic Cheese Making $50.00
March 19, 2011 Basic Cheese Making $50.00
March 26, 2011 Basic Cheese Making (Full) $100.00
April 30, 2011 Milking and Basic Cheese Making (Full) $100.00
May 14, 2011 Milking and Basic Cheese Making (Full) $100.00
May 28, 2011 Milking and Basic Cheese Making $100.00

If you decide you would like to attend one of the workshops just choose a date that is best for you and would like to reserve that date please notify me before you fill out and send the registration form and your payment for the workshop. I will need to pencil you in for that date so that the class is not over booked. Only 8 people per workshop. So if you have a number of people wanting to attend with you let me know as soon as possible so we can hold that date for you. It is on a first come first serve basis. If you have a group of 8 that would like to attend together we can schedule a specific date that works for your group. It can even be during the week rather than the weekend if that works for your group.
More information along with registration form can be found on our web site www.oklahomarawmilk.com If you have any questions please contact me either by e-mail or by phone 918-371-5367. Pictures of the workshops can also be found on our web site.
Thank you,
Judy
