Question On Cooking

I Put Pork Tenderloin And A Can Of Mushroom Soup In Crock To Cook This Morning. Will The Liquid Be Safe To Consume After Cooking The Pork In Or Will I Need To Make New Soup(gravy) To Go With Meat. Dh Says I Am Going To Give My Boys Botulisism(?) This Way? Does Anyone Have Any Suggestions?

Thanks Joyce

If it has cook as long as the meat has then it is safe to eat.
You should not serve liquid that has had contact with RAW meat without boiling it first, such as a marinade. Once you have cooked it it is fine.

I use Cream of Onion soup to make my Pot Roast. It cooks all day and the liquid is the gravy after it is done.

My family would have died decades ago if this has been true...but like mentioned-do not serve marinate after it has been in contact with raw meat...MissKitty

Well, think about it. The meat is cooked so the soup is cooked too. If the soup was tainted the meat would be too..
