I use a jar funnel- like you use to fill quart jars for canning- and fold a 6 1/2 milk filter to fit it. The milk filters' cost is about the same as coffee filters.

As bilooo2 said, some people who can't drink the regular, pasteurized milk can drink raw milk. That alone says a lot about milk that is boiled. If pastuerized milk is sooo great, how come those lactose intollerant can drink raw milk. Take away the raw and the pasteurized, and you get milk. Funny how there is THAT much of a difference.

I know I've mentioned this before, but as JeffNY said, there are those who can't digest sterilized milk. One of the families who get milk from us have a daughter who could not hold down any type of storebought milk or formula. Their doctor recommended, off the record of course, that they find someone with a house cow willing to sell them milk.

Long story short, the baby, she was just months old when they came to see us, started drinking raw Jersey milk and joy of joys, she could hold it down, and digest it. It has been over a year now and this wee family of 4 are still using 6 gallons of milk a week from us.

What was a too small for her age sickly baby is now a chubby toddler, and everyone is happy, except the cows who are more interested in their own feed.
