Maybe she has a bad tooth? causing her not to eat well or as much.......you mentioned more saliva?

If she has good pasture ,has the pasture type changed much from where you bought her?
How were they feeding her?

Well vet was out today for my skinny girl. Time to start testing. Starting with Jones. I pray it's not that.

Johne's is usually accompanied by diarrhea.

Run your hand along the side of her neck; does she seem to have enlarged lymph nodes? That can be a sign of BLV (bovine leukosis virus) which can also cause weight loss.

What are you worming her with, how often and how does her coat look?

Her poop was a scotch runny. She has potent feed though. We're going with cheapest test first. Coat looks good. Getting her winter coat in. Worming with ivermectin. I have only had her for less then 12 weeks wormed once sofar.

Waiting Falcon, I don't think it's her tooth, she eats here and there, as of today me and my father fed her grain again and she ate everything. We gave her better local hay today and she ate it all up, so I'm hoping she'll eat like she use to and hopefully gain weight. I'll have to have a vet come out sometime this weekend to see if she has something going on with her to be sure.

Cow getting skinny

Willow girl, I'll have to look at that tomorrow, and so far I have not wormed her because the vet recommended not to since I guess it'll affect the milk? Correct me If I'm wrong. Is it fine if I deworm her? And her poop isn't runny, it's not your usual cow pies but it's a little loose but still piles up like it use to.

Ivan has your girl ever been given a magnet? If my girl comes back negative were going to have the vet out to give her one. I know my girls dam died of hardware disease. Seems like a possibility to me for my girl.

Take a fecal sample to the vet or state lab to see if she does have worms and then deworm according to vet's instructions with the product that the vet recommends.

A possible "second" magnet won't hurt her.

NO! A second magnet makes the first one null and void!

I would think a second magnet would do no harm. The two would pair up, but junk would still stick to them.
