I am glad you have upped their rations. Your first post said they were getting 1 Kg od cut clover, that's just 2 pounds and not enough to even keep them on minimum rations let alone put weight on them.
They would need about 3-4% of their body weight in hay alone to sustain themselves, so all the hay they can eat and good mineral, plus your other mix and in a month or so they should look very much better. Make sure they have good clean water at all times.

carol I think you missed the part aout lush irigated pastures they have as much grass as they could eat the clover was just as an extra to boost protine as there wernt any legumes in the pasture I have seeded clover in the pasture and it is starting to come up now so the grazing should be getting better and better.

The heifer appears to be in much better condition than the cow. Are you positive the heifer is not nursing the cow? The cow should be dry, without milk. Have you tried to milk the cow to verify she is not still giving milk?

the cow id definitely dry now but apparently the heifer was still nursing till about a month before those pics were taken
