Today for the first time Lulu came to the gate and took the bottle herself without me having to pop the nipple in her mouth. I'm so excited about the progress she is making.

She also will stand and let me pat and rub her, a far cry from how wild she was when I brought her home last week.

Great news and very happy for you. Glad to hear she has a name. She trusts you, so now you can really teach her and spoil her (hint: they love being brushed!).

Oh Lulu! She looks really good.
What kind of cow is that with the upright ears?

Cute photo.

Thanks. I am so pleased with her. I really worried the first couple of days when she was so wild and not eating. Now she is taking a bottle three times a day, eating creep feed, grazing, and coming to me.
