Here is a pic of some of the younger bred heifers. Nice ones, all. My fav is the sweet little Jersey, due in March, on the right looking at us over her shoulder. Sad to say, she's not coming home with me due to my hay situation. But hopefully all of you who are interested will give him a call and get your girls spoken for or bought.

Please forgive if this doesn't work, I've never uploaded photos before.

Wow! Those are some awesome Jerseys! I didn't even know he had any of those.

BlackWillow,

I can bring an extra to the Lafayette area. That would save you a few hours drive.

Oooh, are you still going to see them Tuesday? Uh oh, now I'm thinking this might work. I better call that guy and talk to him. Oh gosh, does anyone know what vet clearances I'd need to bring a calf across state lines?

I believe that if the calf is under 6 months old, you're gold.

If you call Ron, tell him I'm looking for two. Thanks!

Those are weanlings. Unless they are too tall, I'm going to put the camper top on and add straw. I'm not dragging the trailer down for babies.

Congratulations, SUE!

I'm waiting to hear from Carla.

Ron says all of the milkers are sold to a fellow in OH, but he hasn't heard from him as to whether the deal will go through.

It looks like we're down to big heifers, little heifers, and a couple of itty-bitty bull calves.

Oh my! I was totally surrounded by my two favorite breeds of dairy cows! I had no idea that I would be seeing all the jerseys too. We went to possibly buy one, MAYBE two heifers and I could have left with a dozen! That dairy was a very dangerous place for me to be!
Anyway, I got two guernsey heifer calves, bigger than the small ones. Gorgeous of course. The 4y/o granddaughter was interested in the cows and calves but more interested in the snow there since we haven't had much. Unfortunately, DGD had my phone buried between the car seats so I didn't get any pictures.
Judy, you're an enabler in the best way! Thanks

You are welcome, Sue. Enjoy your girls.

John, when I spoke to him before, we were talking about a bottle heifer. When I called back today, he'd sold her. So I think that the first one there with money gets them. I will take pics of the bred ones for you.
