It is not that expensive pick one calf and the bull and see if they are related. I think it is 60$ per test. is it worth 120$ to find out for sure. And then your bull would be on file.

Can you wiggle the "horn", or is it good and solidly attached? Another thing would be does it feel warm? I would imagine that a scur-rious "horn" would not be near as warm to the touch
as a normal horn that has bone and blood inside.

It sounds like the question is the history of the cows not the bull to me. The jersey mix can provide horns. It all depends on the stronger gene. Personally I like the horns on my cattle.

If that's the case running everything together. How many 9 month old BULL calves were in that field with the angus bull. It only takes one

The horns are very hard I'm sure they are horns. There are no bull calfs over 4 months allowed in the pasture there where four steers two registered angus ones and two highland ones of mine Maybe one of the steers did it The calfs dont' have lots of hair or look like a highland cross but I guess anything is possible.
