Wow, yes, he has grown a lot! Horned? You've got a good solid set of corral panels for him, the best kind! Are you going to quarantine him or do you have a nice calm older cow to put in with him?

More photos!

Wow! He has grown. May be a stupid question, but how do you put the "FOJ" in him?
Would be good to know since my crazy cow incident.

FEAR OF JOHN.....easy I kick him not hard just kick him AND SAY ...MOVE ON...any time he gets close enough to me to kick him......I will pour out feed and stand between the feed and him if he comes close he will get kicked...after about a week...I will start chasing him around the feed trough.IF HE JUST STARTS TO MOVE I SAY ....MOVE ON.....no I do not run around chasing him in the field..if i get close he gets kicked..as I said not hard....I never abuse him and NEVER HURT HIM....

BUT he has to respect MY SPACE AND I CHOOSE WERE MY SPACE IS...

no matter what he is doing he has to watch were my space is

I kick him because I always have my foot....if you use a stick he might figure out what he can do when you do not have a stick

MY wife carries a stick

THIS MIGHT NOT WORK FOR OTHERS BUT IT HAS FOR ME ON 5 JERSEY BULLS SO FAR

as they get older they might bow there head if they do I walk over and say MOVE ON...

if they PAW the ground with me in the field they GO IN THE FREEZER

to many people let them come over and eat so they can rub them...so they never respect humans space....another thing I do that nobody I know does is I have a way of letting my bull into the milk parlor and he comes right in with the cow and stands in the ally way..I am behind steel pipe nothing can get to me...

ever load up a cow in the trailer and your bull go crazy....or milk your cow and bull is standing outside MAD AS H&%%...I feel if you make him mad twice a day it is just a matter of time before he get enough and wants to do something so I avoid that also

THIS MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU BUT IT DOES ME

FEAR OF JOHN will not work on a cow because they need to be calm to have a let down....I never pet my cows not even as babies.I have a cow i can pet but she was that way as a baby and I can walk up to her in the field...but I very seldom do

Myers, thanks for the info. and in-depth explaination. My husband could get away with that, I'm going to be like your wife and carry a stick.

here is the video of this morning .... it just happen he was licking the tub lick wanting to talk to the new little bull but watch him flex his side like he knows he is about to be kicked...and I have not had to kick this bull in 4 years

I would not try this method on a full grown bull NEVER ONLY ON A CALF but they remember
