Yeah, $3.50lbs hanging and I pay the processor. Costs me $25 kill fee and $0.51lbs hanging for the processing.

I sell mine for $2.75 a lb, hanging weight. I haul the calf to the processor and pay the butcher price, the customer tell them how they want it cut up and pick up the finished product. I sell grass fed beef and make enough to make it worth it to me, plus I always have a freezer full of good beef.

Has anyone figured out what the end cost per pound in the package really is?? All in??
