It's not the coccidiosis that I hate them for, it's that the whole silly flock has to poop EVERYWHERE. I keep my chickens cooped to save them from dogs and because I HATE bird poop. I know it's not the most rational considering I've had cow plops squish between my toes while walking in the field barefoot and it didn't bother me as much as just seeing bird poop.
