My Jersey, Janie, is like that. Always has to notice if the slightest little thing is out of place. I switched to a different milking machine a few weeks back, and oh my! She still has to check it out every day! It's always a lot of fun when hot weather hits and I turn the barn fan on. It's the same barn fan she sees day after day after day (cause it never moves all winter long even though it has wheels), but at times I have to turn it off so she will walk past. She is a ninny, but she makes me laugh with many of her antics. Silly cows!
