Mind you, I wouldn't mind owning them steers at the right price. I would hay them til grass season, worm them, put them on pasture, and start them on grain on the first of August. Keep them until the grass plays out and then butcher some excellent fat Jersey beef.

Thank you - we just sold her to a friend who has a mini Jersey and bull (in addition to a large dexter herd) and wanted to use her to breed up to to Minis. We have too small a farm to really sustain her here, though we'd had her for over year years since she was a calf.
