You could try tricking him. I use electric fence and rotate my cattle so they are pretty easy to catch but I did have to resort to trickery with my bull a few times when he was being treated by the vet.
Basically I put their water inside the corral and left the gate open to get them used to going to it. Then I would shut the gate for 24 hours and when I check on them they are thirsty, and hanging around wanting water, I open the gate - in they all go - and I shut the gate behind them.
