my butter freezes/froze fine, too. I vacuum sealed it in 1/2 lb balls, 6 balls per package. I would make up 3 gallons of cream into butter at a time when we had our cow - took close to 3 hours with all the cleaning and futzing and forming and freezing.

you can also make cheese, butter and cheese from all that left over milk would go a long way for a family,

I pack mine into 1 pint freezer containers. They stack and store nice and compact

KSLA guy just me and wife...thanks though Matt man I know about the freezer containers you told me about using them on the other forum KFC..
..Keep in mind I will tell everyone how it works but it will be September before I start again
